Making Work Easier for Staff: Shiki City's Initiative with Generative AI and Integrated Systems
In many local governments, the shortage of staff is becoming increasingly serious, making digital transformation (DX) and operational efficiency urgent priorities. Shiki City in Saitama Prefecture is actively promoting DX through initiatives such as the implementation of an integrated internal information system centered on electronic approval workflows, and the proactive use of generative AI by all staff members.
By turning “tedious” tasks into “simple” ones, Shiki City aims to reduce the burden on its employees while simultaneously improving services for its citizens. In this session, a key project leader will share insights from the front lines of this transformation, offering a practical perspective on how DX is being realized in the city.
